Nirav Patel, Director and Co-Founder of Sapient Knowtech Private Limited currently heads the Marketing & International Structuring. His experience spans 20+ years which includes a 12-year stint with a major accounting firm in UAE. Having been in practice since 2009, he has diverse experience in auditing, taxation, compliance and business advisory matters.

He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Graduate in Law and Commerce. He is holding Certificate of Practice from ICAI (India) and a licensed Auditor from Ministry of Economy (UAE).

His experience encompasses areas such as statutory audits of companies, agreed upon review engagements, financial due diligence, M&As, company formation, banking arrangements and regulatory compliances like ESR, AML, UBO, etc. His area of expertise includes Group Structuring and International liaising where he guides about expanding business operations into a new global market, and given the new opportunities that are on offer, its pros and cons. Getting the right structure in place and having a well devised plan of action, can make or break the success of the venture. His typical areas that a business needs to get upfront visibility on include:

Group structure and local entities;
Trading arrangements and profit positioning;
Tax, accounting, and legal issues on structuring.
He also works closely with his clients and has developed strong and long-standing relationships with them, helping them to develop their business and assists them in preparing the financial feasibility studies and business plan and advising them about the viability of their projects / business in different jurisdictions in UAE.

In addition, he likes to stay mentally agile and physically active. When not busy at work, he is an avid sports person with a passion for keeping fit and healthy life.
